A simple Rotary project with lasting impact

Help us put body-safety books into South African schools

The My Body Is My Body (MBIMB) Programme uses songs, animated videos, activities and age-appropriate conversations to help children understand that their body belongs to them, recognise unsafe situations, speak up and know who to tell.

6 Easy Ways Your Club Can Help
1

Sponsor a School

Fund the printing of MBIMB workbooks, teacher guides and posters for a local school. Educators deliver the programme – your club makes it possible.

2

Create a Safe Library

Donate MBIMB books and posters to a library, children’s centre or community hub so families and educators can access them.

3

Hold a Community Awareness Day

Share positive body-safety information with parents, carers and local organisations at a school or community event.

4

Support an Early Years Setting

Provide age-appropriate resources to a nursery or preschool, helping young children learn simple safety messages through music and play.

5

Partner with a Sports or Youth Club

Provide safeguarding posters, books and information for coaches, volunteers, young people and parents.

6

Encourage Local Champions

Connect MBIMB with trusted teachers, librarians and community leaders who can help the programme reach more children.

Every contribution helps children feel safer, speak up and know that they belong.

Together, Rotary clubs can help trusted adults share positive body-safety education and build safer communities for children.
